Youth Fundraiser for Nothing But Nets-the youth will be selling 2009 Christian calendars for $7.  Please pick one up and help our youth reach their $1,000 goal to purchase mosquito bed nets for the Nothing But Nets Campaign.
 
Everyone in the Christmas Play will rehearse the music immediately after worship.  The play rehearsal will follow for Acts 2 and 3.  It is not too late to be in the play, if you would like to participate.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Marie.

Bell Choir will practice on Monday at 7pm.

United Methodist Women's Monthly Meeting is Tuesday, December 2nd, 10:30 a.m., Fellowship Hall.  Randy Roberson will be presenting "Fun in Christmas Music."  All are welcome!
 
Jesus in the Gospels Bible Study will meet this Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in Room 22.
 
Men's Breakfast at Tastee Diner on Thursday, December 4th, 6:30 a.m.

Coming Up

Don't Forget: Children's Chapel next Sunday!  All kids and their families are invited to Children's Chapel, 10:00-10:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 7th.  We'll be celebrating lighting the Advent wreath. See you there!
 
The Angel Tree is up at the far end of the Narthex! Please choose an Angel today with these pointers in mind: Please return your gifts to the Angel Tree by Sunday, December 7th, so they can be distributed in time for Christmas.  You don't need to supply all the gifts on the wish list - one or two items will bring great joy!  Please keep the ORIGINAL LABEL on your gift.  DO NOT WRAP the gifts, place them in gift bags with the original label attached.
 
You don't want to miss the Annual Advent Event!  Sunday, December 7th, 4:00-7:00 p.m.  There will be crafts, wreath making, Christmas carols and a potluck dinner.  Fun for all ages!
In order to have enough crafts for those that attend, please sign up on the sheet outside of the Education office. 
 
Our quarterly Administrative Council meeting will be Sunday, December 14th, following worship in the chapel.  We will be presenting and voting on the 2009 budget.  All leaders need to plan on attending, and anyone is welcome.  Snacks and childcare are provided.
 
HELP NEEDED - TODDLERS & TWOS CLASS ~ The Toddlers & Twos Sunday School class (ages 18-36 months) is in need of volunteers right away. This class meets every Sunday.  If you can give one Sunday per month, please see Marie or Eleanor Organ as soon as possible.
 
HAT AND MITTEN TREE ~ We will once again be collecting hats and mittens for families in our community.  Please place your hats and mittens on the Christmas tree in the Chapel hallway.  If you have any questions, please see Marie.
