Miriam Suggs, is a native of Wilson, North Carolina, and received her education in the public schools of North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD. In 1998 she was awarded a Master of Science in Organization Development from The American University in Washington, DC. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree at Wesley Theological Seminary. She comes to us after many fulfilling years of her career including 14 years at Verizon.

Miriam is a member of the First Baptist Church of Washington, DC under the leadership of Pastor Frank Tucker. She was concentrated as a Deaconess in 2000. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Women’s Ministry in her home church. Studying the Bible is one of the many things that she enjoys doing. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for the good of those that are called by God and according to His purpose (Romans 8:28)." Not only does she enjoy studying the Bible but it is important to her that she lives it as well. She also enjoys jogging, entertaining friends, cooking, and sports. She is blessed with numerous talents and gifts and we are happy for the opportunity to receive of her talents and skills. Welcome Miriam!
