Winston White
Building Superintendent.
Winston left Jamaica and immigrated to the United States in 1961. He worked as a building engineer for several private companies in New York City and before moving to the Washington DC area, worked for ten years with the New York City Board of Education. |
| Winston and his family moved to the Washington DC area because he wanted to be closer to and take care of his ailing mother. He and his wife Darlene have been married for 25 years and have three children: Calvin, Desmond and Latanya. Winston and Darlene are currently foster parents for two young girls. They are in their own Christian way, giving back to the community some of the blessings they have had since coming to the United States. Winston has been with Woodside Church for 16 years. | | |
